Womens Day 2021

It was a regular day at the office filled with back-to-back conference calls, unrealistic client requests, colleagues complaining about slow wi-fi and whining about bosses who constantly nag.  In the discreet corner of the office, near the water-cooler, which more often than not becomes a hub of office gossip and harmless banter, somebody spoke. Such things happen when the environment is conducive enough. People let their guards down and unknowingly expose their innermost, crude and lewd biases. This someone basically cribbed that Women's day is celebrated every year with such enthusiasm as against to Men's day which is a relatively low-key affair. This someone also added numerous examples of sacrifices that men make in their daily lives but which go unrecognized. Added that modern women are supposedly empowered enough with the world rooting for them. Needless to say, this somebody was a he. And then everybody in the nodded in agreement and the banter continued. I thought o...

Fear of Losing or Obsession to Win?

Confused? think wisely. OK let me help you out. What do you think, are they same or different? Well most of you will think that they are different. But a handful of the probable readers of my blog will think that they are the same. OK another question for you. Which of you think is more Harmful? and the scope of this harm can be the person himself or the people around him/her. Can anyone of these qualities ruin u?

Well this question popped in my mind when i had my very first encounter with destiny. I am firm believer that a man creates his own Fate. But some incidents in your life makes you helpless. You virtually have no control on those things. It is today that i have realised that Destiny is very powerful. Never before I have found myself in such a situation where you are made to do something. It's a bit annoying when you have no control on the things around you. You have no freedon of choice. You are compelled to LOSE.

I will here explain my title. Well there is a very fine relation between DESTINY and the title of this blog. When Fate plays it's cards and you are compelled to Lose, what is your reaction? Frustrated? Annoyed? Angry? Agitated? or some other. well if your reaction is one of those mentioned, why so? Got it? I mean why do you react that way? What do you think, that you will always win? or you are simply afraid if Losing? That's why the title.

Kakorrhaphiophobia is the Fear of Defeat and i sure as hell cannot pronounce it. And as i could make out when destiny has it's bit of share in your cause of defeat, then digesting that defeat is more tiresome. But is Destiny more powerful than your own conviction to succeed. There are numerous opinions on this matter which i came to know during a intresting discussion i had with two of my friends at an equally intresting place 'QUADRANGLE(CIDCO)'. I am a firm believer that a man makes his own luck(as i've already mentioned) but due to recent incidents my belief has started dangling. Nothing because i've lost my faith but today i've realised the power of destiny. I dont wanna lose faith and this thing will need some time to get over with.

SO LET ME ASK ALL MY READERS TODAY THAT WHAT THEY THINK HOLDS THE ACE CARD IN THE END. IS IT DESTINY OR A PERSON'S DETERMINATION?

Coming back to my previous discussion, in my personal opinion Obsession to win yields better results than fear of losing. That,s because obsession to win makes you to endure whereas fear of losing makes you nervous. But as said EXCESS OF EVERYTHING IS BAD, so obsession to win can also be grevious. So decide for yourself what makes you give better results. Do reply me your opinion. Bye for now........

P.S.: Do check out the POLL on the LEFT. I've also added the news results for Beiging Olympics. Of course Abhinav made us proud. let's have three cheers for him.........

  3. Again i would say the same thing gr8 post yaar...
Now abt the post i would like to say that they are different in a way u think and obsession to win i think may cause harm on others especially your loved ones
And by fear of losing harm is done to ourselves as we may not take part but that is okay compared to the above harm i think
And abt destiny i believe in destiny but not just that everything happens because of destiny but what happens is your destiny...
Also i would like to say luck is different thing and destiny is another thing as there is quite a misconception abt them..
Now on to the post the style of writing is excellent and the poll is brilliant idea ..
Again the same problem i have wid your post is it is quite small.. if the post is larger the better and the more fun it is after all its your post eagerly awaiting next one and dude if u can i would like it to be a more candid and humorous topic...
